Dr. J Goes International: Quoted in Vogue Czechoslovakia!

instagramversionLast month Vogue Czechoslovakia’s main article posed the question “How much can the blue light emanating from electronic devices really affect your skin? ” They reached out to internationally renowned Cosmetic Dermatologist Dr. Jegasothy to get more insight on this matter.

According to Dr. Jegasothy, there is a certain wavelength of UV light and blue light that is frequently used in treating acne, although this wavelength is different from the blue light emitted from sources such as smart phones, computers, tablets, and LED lighting.

While blue light from smart devices may have other side effects, the general consensus is that it has little to no benefits in regards to skin conditions.
