The top Miami Aesthetic Dermatologist HAS to be a sunscreen expert. That’s why Harper’s Bazaar asked us to share our best Miami sunscreen advice for their May 2016 issue. As summer quickly approaches, we all need to remember these essential sunscreen tips.

Must-Have SPF:

“For combination skin, Miami dermatologist S. Manjula Jegasothy suggests a moisturizing SPF on dry patches and an acne-fighting version on breakout zones.”

Clean Sweep:

“ ‘You need to cleanse your face more thoroughly in summer because of sweat and sunscreen, which clog pores,’ says Jegasothy, who recommends using a Clarisonic cleansing brush.”

SPF Do’s and Don’ts:

“ ‘At the beach, reapply SPF every hour if you’re sweating and every time you come out of the water, even if you use a water-resistant sunscreen,’ Jegasothy advises. And while sprays are convenient, she notes, most people don’t apply them correctly.”
