Suffering from Dark and Puffy Eyes?

If you suffer from dark and puffy eyes there are several options available to help treat those areas.

Depending on how dark the area under your eyes is, it can be treated either with a good retinol or growth factor eye cream. We recommend Biopelle Tensage® Contour eye cream (see:…).

If the darkness is more pronounced, a low-energy Fraxel® laser treatment can also be very effective.

If your puffiness is due to water retention in the eye area, then sleeping on 2 or 3 pillows with your head propped up can improve this, as can reducing your overall salt intake.

Finally, if your puffiness is due to prominent fat pads or “bags” under your eyes, there are some advanced filler techniques using Restylane® to minimize them. In the next few years, the FDA will approve a new injectable fat-melting solution manufactured by a company called Kythera®, so that you might not need eyelid surgery!
